Pine, cherry or maple base, original dark maroon red painted finish, rectangular top with rounded corners (19″ x 16 3/4″), with two flanking dovetailed drawers with small original turned pulls, under hung on chamfered cleats, attached to top with handmade screws, turned shaft supported on a tripod spider leg base, Hancock, MA, c. 1840, 25 1/4″ h.
