Pine, original yellow painted finish, darkened patina, cast steel bail with turned maple handle, finely shaped with central groove, diamond bail plates with coffin-shaped tops, double riveted, two cast steel bands with shaped ends, traces of original black painted finish, 7 3/8″ h (to rim), 14″ h (to top of handle), 15″ dia, (purchased WHA 1996 Shaker Auction).
