Pine, original orange painted finish, two black painted bands and elongated vertical diamond bail plates, maple handle with convex profile and single scribe line, shaped iron wire bail, stenciled black “W.” on bottom, (Note: an “H.” was evidently painted over), excellent condition and color, probably Enfield, NH, c. 1840-1850, 7″ h (to rim), 13″ h (to handle), 10 1/4″ dia, (Ed Clerk collection).
