Rare woven poplar table mat, trimmed in striped blue and yellow woven tape, with three Shaker woven tape hangers at top edge, 16 1/2″ h, 14 1/2″ w; Round pincushion covered with light brown and cream checkerboard design fabric, on three small brass feet, trimmed in purple silk with yellow tag, Canterbury, NH, 5″ dia, molded beeswax with purple silk ribbon; Four 2 1/2″ maple Shaker pegs, in original stained yellow, in an oval maple box, marked on paper label “.25”, scratched on bottom “Ethan made ?”; Fancy goods cardboard box “Manufactured by the Canterbury Shakers, East Canterbury, New Hampshire”, 2 1/2″ h, 6 1/2″ w; Martha Wetherbee kittenhead basket with tall hoop handle, signed “MW-82″, 2 1/2″ h to rim, 4” dia.
