Maple and tiger maple, original varnish finish, bold tiger maple stiles and curvilinear arms, original early Shaker mottled tan/cream colored tape seat, (some wear in front), four 3″ maple slats, top slat was split and repaired, paper tag written in Ed's handwriting on back of second slat, Mt. Lebanon, NY, c. 1830-1840, 16 1/2″ seat h, 45″ overall h, (ex. Ed Clerk collection).
