Maple, original natural finish, cylindrical shaped wood mold with scribe lines, fixed to a rectangular shaft with lambs tongue chamfering, supported on an “X” base, split to one foot with 19th c. nailed repair, a rare form, possibly New Lebanon, NY, c. 1830-40, 35″ h, 13″ l (mold).
