Mixed woods, birch, maple and cherry, three slats, original finishes, three in red stain, two chairs had tilters (missing), early rush seats, one chair is initialed “R.S.” on back of top slat, deaccessioned from a Massachusetts Historical House/Museum, Harvard, MA or Canterbury, NH, c. 1830, 16″ to 17″ seat h, 39 1/2″ to 40 1/2″ overall h.
