Lot 151: Dining Chair

Pine, maple and birch, original red painted finish, low carved slat with six turned spindles, carved pine seat, turned and splayed legs with four stretchers, very fine condition, (sold at Willis Henry Shaker Auction, 1990, Lot 365), Canterbury, NH, c. 1840-1850, 17 1/2″ seat h, 24 1/2″ overall h.
