Maple and pine, original ochre stained finish, two-board breadboard pine top, shaped medial stretcher under top, square to turned legs, swelled turning at the foot, carved octagonal stretcher, exceptionally constructed undercarriage, small red and white label under top “Shaker sawbuck table, (Canterbury, N.H.), c. 1830”, also labeled in Ed Clerk’s handwriting “…from Canterbury, N.H. c. 1830, original finish.”, Ed used this rare table in his kitchen, 29 1/2″ h, 5′ 5″ l, 33 3/4″ w, (Ed Clerk collection).
