Maple, original dark stained finish, tall finials, three graduated slats, early splint seats, accelerated tapered front legs, back legs with original tilters, (two chairs are numbered on top of front stiles, “2” and “7”, to indicate room numbers, minor repairs and imperfections), Mt. Lebanon, NY, c. 1840, overall good condition, 42″ overall h, (ex. Kippy Stroud collection).
