Pine and maple, original bright cherry red painted finish, four finely carved fingers attached with copper tacks, lid with small steel points and a few small splits, signed in pencil under lid “1908 Mrs. Langreys box given me by George her son, 1908″, (note: a very good red box), 3 1/8″ h, 8 1/8” l.
