Pine and maple, original cranberry red painted finish, six fingers, small copper tacks and cut “T” head steel points, original red paint on bottom, small knot split at bottom left back, c. 1840-1850, (note: one of the largest red oval boxes we’ve sold), 6 3/8″ h, 14 5/8″ l, 10 5/8″ w.
