Maple and pine, original dark cherry red painted finish, finely shaped fixed handle, three elegantly shaped fingers attached with small copper tacks, (note: all wood surfaces are in the original red finish), very fine condition with tiny stress line at left nailed base, c. 1830-1840, 3″ h (to rim), 7″ h (to top of handle), 10 1/8″ l, 7 1/4″ w.
