Pine, original yellow varnished stain, brass hinged lift lid opening to an interior with three small dovetailed drawers, each with a brass ring pull, (one drawer has four Shaker herb labels and a seed envelope “Summer Crookneck Squash, 6. F.W.”), early lock and key, two exterior side drawers, dovetailed with brass ring pulls, c. 1840-1850, 8″ h, 17 1/2″ l, 11 1/4″ d.
