Two-piece, cherry and pine, original varnish finish, top section with simple 3 1/4″ slant molding, over two inset vertical panel doors, three interior shelves, walnut pull with turning door closure, over the bottom section iron hinged with slant lid, four small interior dovetailed drawers and four cubbyholes, over three graduated dovetailed drawers, inset side panels, all on rectangular straight legs, found in Connecticut, c. 1850, 7′ 2″ h, 38 3/4″ w, 19″ d.
