Cherry wood, old finish, tall flame finials with medial scribe line, four graduated ladders, finely carved arms, early rush seat, rockers bolted with hand-forged nuts and bolts, double stretchers in front, rocker extends beyond front stile and is carved in classic Harvard Shaker style, c. 1840-1850, excellent condition, 15″ seat h, 46 3/4″ overall h.
