Pine, original light gray painted finish, wood pegged at every corner, three 1″ deep-set windows, set in with three Shaker printed seed labels, “Butternut” in blue, “Extract of Tomatoe” in yellow, and “Extract of Sarsaparilla” in green, each 2 1/4″ x 4, (note: a clever use of a rare transom as a frame for labels), from the North Family Dwelling Building torn down in 1974, New Lebanon, NY, c. 1840, 30 1/2″ l, 6 1/2″ w (transom).
