Birch and cherry, pine secondary, turned walnut knob, figured birch drawer front, finely thumbnail molded and dovetailed, two board top with medial spline, exceptional construction, 4″ overhang in front and back, 3″ overhang on sides, original handmade screws, finely turned legs, full-length drawer (22″ l), chalk marks on bottom of drawer and inside of top “Basket Balls” dated “1922”, Canterbury, NH, c. 1840, 27″ h, 36″ top, 25 1/4″ w, (originally purchased from Courcier/Wilkins, includes receipt from 4/19/86).
