Three graduated maple slats with beveled tops, early varnish finish, cream and black woven seats (over earlier woven splint seats), room numbers on tops of front stiles, “12” and “10” (initialed V.E.D.), Watervliet, NY, c. 1840, tilters, excellent condition, (note: rare to find numbers and in tiger maple), 16 1/2″ seat h, 41″ overall h.
