Lot 235: Curd Sink

Pine, old finish, originally purchased from a private collector who purchased this piece from the Groveland, NY Shaker auction, c. 1900, (Groveland Community closed in the 1890’s), cheese cloth was used and the curds would drain from the hole in the bottom, squared legs, 32 1/2″ h, 38″ w, 19 1/4″ d, (ex. John McGuire and Chester Freeman).
