Pine, early Shaker tan and aqua green paint over original chrome yellow painted finish, finely carved swing handle, two shaped metal bands, each with two rivets and forming a point or “V” at the ends, painted aqua green, bottom stamped “D M” for David Meacham, Trustee at New Lebanon from 1794-1808, New Lebanon, NY, c. 1850, 7 1/2″ h (to rim), 14″ h (to top of handle), 10″ dia, (ex. Marjorie Ellis estate).
