Pine, original yellow stained finish, five graduated drawers high with split top drawer, molded, lipped and dovetailed with turned walnut pulls, all on a separate arched foot and dovetailed base, small chip off back left foot, paper on back of top left drawer written in script “Made April the 7th 1848.”, Harvard, MA, (see The Encyclopedia of Shaker Furniture, Rieman and Burks, p. 351), 42 1/2″ h, 36 1/2″ w, 18″ d.
