Birch and pine, stained walnut, banded in sheet steel, circular top with drilled hole for hanging on a peg board, dovetailed and canted pine box covering forged spikes (approximately 100), c. 1850, (note: a rare Shaker flax making device, exceptionally made), 16″ h, 8″ w, 4″ x 6″ (box).
