Unknown maker, c. 1850, key wind, fusee lever, bulls-eye crystal in hallmarked silver pair case, (gothic “R” date letter), blueing on steel, bow is tight, beautifully engraved balance cock, “17403” on case and movement, dial shows a crack, engraved on back “To Preserve the Union D.G. Farragut 1861”, Admiral David G. Farragut used this watch during the Civil War, engraving looks great, case is monogrammed in script “DGF”, 55mm case.
