Poplar with original varnish finish, lightly crackled, very finely dovetailed, interior sectioned with 12 corked bottles, all with small red and white octagonal labels, with pencil inscriptions, one marked “Gin”, another marked “Old Rye”, possibly made to make tinctures, (Note: originally locked with leather carrying strap handle, missing part of the handle), 6″ h, 8 3/4″ l.
