New England, pillar and scroll, finely painted wooden dial with gilded scroll and crests in the corners, “Invented by Eli Terry, movements made by Samuel Terry, Cased and Finished by Elisha Neal, New Hartford, printed in Litchfield, CT., R. Adams”, door is reverse painted scene of buildings of an early Connecticut village, with gilt and black eglomise border, crested top with satinwood inlay and three brass finials, (missing curls), 31″ h (to top of center finial), 16 1/2″ w.
