Very fine Hepplewhite, New England tip-top candlestand, octagonal ebony wood top, central four corner star inlay in maple and walnut, top edge band in walnut veneer, turned shaft, spider legs, tall curved spade feet, (Note: one leg repaired on shaft), 28 1/2″ h, 19″ x 15 1/2″ top, 39″ h top tipped, (ex. Dr. Lombard estate, Scituate, MA).
