Edo period, unsigned, oblong Egurikomi mokko gata shape, fine iron plate with brass hira zogan inlay with small copper highlights, the openwork hitsu ana and inome are fitted with sliver fukurin, the design includes multiple paolonia Kiri mon (both sides), similar to that used by Hideyoshi and the Tokugawa with vines and extending over the mimi edge, no loss, excellent condition, 8.51cm x 7.95cm x 4.29mm at seppa dai, (ex. William Moore estate, Milton, MA).
