Exceptional 18th c. style candlesticks, two matched pair, rococo scalloped shell petal base with finely sculptured baluster shaft, raised petal shaped separate bobeche, signed on one pair “Ensko, New York Sterling”, lightly initialed “MP”; and on the other pair “Shrubsole, London and New York, Sterling”, 8 3/4″ h, 5″ w, found in an estate in Vermont, from DeWitt/Clinton, NY family lineage.
