Black powder priming horn, with etched and carved designs, a glass base plug, missing small end plug, 2 3/4″ l; Black powder measure, with old minor damage, 3″ l; Antler tip powder measure, 3 1/2″ l; Salt horns, both have threaded tops and small chains, these small horns have been used by soldiers since the Revolutionary War through the Civil War, similar examples illustrated in Warren Moore’s book Weapons of the American Revolution and Accoutrements, New York, NY, 1967, p. 217, 3″ and 3 1/2″ l; Buffalo powder horn, brass capped silver end, with three hallmarks, and stamped initials “C.P.F.” in the silver band, 8″ l; Early antler powder horn/flask, with a threaded brass cap and minor wear, 3 1/2″ l; Early riveted powder flask, with a brass top and a screw-on tip, a replacement wooden plug and wear, 3 1/2″ l.
