Early 19th c. oil on board portrait, seated woman in a lace cap with black bow, “painted by Chester Harding” on reverse, also “born Dec 6 1748, died Dec 23 1838″ in pencil on back, in a period carved and gilded frame, some repairs center right along her left side and on chair, otherwise good condition, exhibited at the Morris Museum, NJ Collector Series, April-June 1991, The Fertig Folk Art Collection, 27″ x 23″ (sight), 33″ x 28” (frame), (ex.
