Middle-aged gentleman with blue eyes, in an engraved gold frame, attributed to John Brewster, Jr. (1766-1854), a deaf mute who charged five dollars for his miniatures and fifteen for regular size portraits, (note: Howard purchased this piece June 1988 and found it in the Syracuse, NY area), 2 5/8″ x 2″, (ex. Fertig collection).
