Fan back, maple, pine and oak, early red/brown painted finish over traces of black, wide flat carved oak splayed arms with smooth patina, with six 4″ spindles above supporting a carved fan, on a carved pine saddle seat, with vane and ring turned and carved legs, “H” stretcher, great form, color and wear, (Note: from the Ed Clerk collection, with card on seat “Ex Collection of Edna Greenwood [mentor of Nina Fletcher Little] purchased at Skinner sale March 22, 1998 for 6325.00), 17 3/4″ seat h, 30 3/4” overall h, (ex.
