Lot 65: Tanto-Yari with Kozuka

Tanto Yari (Hirasankaku 17cm), Koto period, mounted as a tanto, mumei and tang shortened. Fabric covered aikuchi saya, unpolished sami tsuka with silver menuki, two silver colored puppies playing on a roof tile, inlaid eyes and gold traces on dogs, kashira missing. The saya is covered in a silk brocade fabric that has been lacquered together with a kazuka and blade.
