Belts and buckles, child’s boots, cartridge case marked “T.W.” (Thomas Welles), two tooled leather wallets, bronze stamp for “T.W. Welles”, brass letter opener with Roman soldiers and “T.G.W.” in script on copper blades, 9 1/2″ l. [Note: one belt buckle shows a bearded Neptune (“Father Neptune” was Gideon Welles nickname). All pieces were located in the “GW” trunk – lot 39.]
