Pennsylvania, walnut, lift top, in original finish, applied molded lid, with original wrought iron strap hinges, interior till box on left with molded edge, dovetailed case, two flanking, dovetailed, figured walnut drawers below, with molded lip and original brasses, all on the original, very finely carved, ogee bracket base, found in the Templeton estate in Woods Hole, MA formed primarily in Pennsylvania, 29″ h, 49″ w x 20 1/2″ d (case), 51″ lid overhang, 50 1/2″ w x 21 1/2″ d (base), (ex. Dr. Oscar and Lois Hollander collection, Falmouth, MA).
