Carved walnut Scandinavian feather bed smoother, carved standing horse handle, on top of a molded and raised board with extensive chip carving, signed “Kidan”, and “1791”, crosses, stars and vines, found in the Templeton estate in Woods Hole, MA formed primarily in Pennsylvania, shows worm holes and some repairs, 6″ h, 23 1/4″ l, (ex. Dr. Oscar and Lois Hollander collection, Falmouth, MA).
