The “Hortensia” three-masted Barque, with gabrielle blowing horn figurehead, built in East Boston, 1854, by Robert E. Jackson, carved wood, and painted black and green with white railings, very finely fitted, in excellent condition, found in a house in Mattapan, Mass., originally found on Cuttyhunk, rigged by Mr. Frederick Soule, Ash St., Brockton, MA in 1980, 21″ h, 30 1/2″ l, (ex. Lee Flournoy; ex. Dr. Oscar and Lois Hollander Collection, Falmouth, MA).
