Three Early American fireplace iron and brass pieces: brass dipper with rat tail iron and copper rivets, 21 1/2″ l; an iron handled brass strainer with double rat tail secured with copper rivets, dated “1820” at top of back of handle, 19 3/4″ l; and a forged iron whirling broiler, on three-footed base with shaped handle and twisted loop hanger, 20 3/4″ l; all found in a Duxbury, MA home.
