Model 1777, round barreled pistol, displaying “83” and several small proof marks, the brass lock plate is engraved “St. Etienne”, an extremely similar example is illustrated in Warren Moore’s book Weapons of the American Revolution, New York, NY, 1967, p. 49, seems to have original ramrod, decent condition, 13 1/4″ l.
