Patriarchal cross or Indian trade “Lorraine Cross”, a similar cross was excavated in Kingston, Canada at the First Fort Frontenac, made of silver or a silver/copper alloy as with the Frontenac cross, a double-barred cross, similar to one illustrated in The National Museums of Canada, Indian Ceremonial and Trade Silver, Ottawa, 1980, p. 121-91, with a rawhide and trade bead necklace, stamped “M A”, attributed to Amable Maillou (1739-1808), Silversmith in Quebec.
