Chicopee, Mass”, stamped “U.S.N., D.R, 1865” on one side of blade, other side “Ames…”, guard stamped “PG 19″, 29 1/2” l; Cutlass with wear, stamped “Ames…” and “1862” on the blade with original copper riveted leather scabbard, stamped on guard “3M 759″, 31 1/2” l.
