New England, bow back, original orange/red painted finish, tightly shaped bow with six tapered spindles, finely carved pine saddle seat, exaggerated bamboo turned and carved splayed legs, “H” stretcher, possibly dated on bottom in pencil “1785”, minor wear and slight imperfections, overall fine, 17 1/4″ seat h, 36″ overall h, (ex.
