Description
From the Nanking Cargo sold at Christie’s in Amsterdam in 1986, a small charger with blue underglaze, decorated with flowered branches, a central river scene, “Pagoda Riverscape scene”, 10″ dia; and a strap handled mug, 4″ h, with gold and blue decoration; both from the Geldermalsen shipwreck, mid 18th c., found in the South China Sea, R. Jorgensen provenance, Belknap collection.
