Maple, original varnish finish, three carved rods (12″ l) attached to pine dowel, wall mounted with two screws, folds to conserve space, paper label “Shaker”, and “$2.00″; Finely turned cylindrical roller (19″ l) fitted into side brackets (similar to a curtain rod), all fitted to a poplar back board that would be screwed to the wall, original dark stained finish, 4” h; Two Shaker hand towels, linen and cotton, one ink initialed “L.Y.L.”, 21″ x 48″, one pillowcase initialed in blue stitching “M.7″, 16″ x 24 1/2″; finely woven linen towel, 28″ x 40”, with small white tag “1.50”, and on reverse “Canterbury 1964” in Dr. McCue’s handwriting.
