Pine, original yellow stain with varnish, applied crown molding over two small inset horizontal panels, vertical inset paneled doors with one-quarter rounded moldings, sliding brass door closures, three-shelf interior with stained yellow doors and red interior, over two lipped and thumbnail molded drawers stained red inside, signed on the bottom of the right hand drawer in pencil script “…John…Hiram?…”, over two inset vertical paneled doors below with four-shelf interior, yellow stained doors with original sliding brass door closures, on an applied dovetailed bracket base, Hancock, MA, c. 1840, 7′ 3 1/2″ h, 40 1/4″ w, 13 1/4″ d.
