McClellan (1826-1885), who was the Commanding General of the U.S. Army from 1861-1862 during the beginning of the Civil War, the second is of General George Foster Shepley, who served as Military Governor of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Richmond, Virginia, the card is by “E. Jacobs & Co., Camp Street, New Orleans”, both cards are 4″ x 2 3/8″.
