Pickle dipper, maple or cherry, finely turned and carved from one piece of wood, bowl with 13 drilled holes, (shows a triangular repair and small split), 16″ l; Dry measure, oak and ash, with two steel banded wraps, original natural finish with patina, “Deka-10L” (Liters), stenciled “United Society, sealed, W. Glouchester, Me”, c. 1870-1880, Brother Granville Merrill (1839-1878), Sabbathday Lake; Add-on drawer, thin butternut and pine, original varnish finish, dovetailed in the back of box, turned walnut pull, Enfield, CT, c. 1870, some repairs to splits in top, (Note: finely constructed with very thin materials in a rare form), 3 3/8″ h, 8″ l, 5 1/8″ w; Round carrier, (originally a dry measure), maple, original varnish finish, copper tacks, shaped maple swing handle attached with wooden pins, New Lebanon, NY, c. 1840, (Note: Shaker recycled container for use as a possible berry pail), 7 3/8″ h (to top of handle), 6″ dia; (Steve Miller collection).
