Gumwood, bentwood maple swing handle, peened brass rivet with brass washers, half round molded rim, slightly extended base with rounded edge, fixed with symmetrically measured nails, stamped “1” in the center, 4 1/2″ h, 12″ l, 8 5/8″ w.

The maple bail is Shaker-made. The rectangular box, of gumwood, was bought from the Annette Box Co. – information given to Mary Dahm
