Lot 45: Set of Six Side Chairs

Mixed woods, birch, maple and cherry, three slats, original finishes, three in red stain, two chairs had tilters (missing), all with early rush seats, one chair is initialed “R.S.” on back of top slat, deaccessioned from a Massachusetts Historical Museum, Harvard, MA and Canterbury, NH, c. 1830-1840, 16″ to 17″ seat h, 39 1/2″ to 40 1/2″ overall h.
